Rev. Dr. Stanley R. Ladson, Sr.

Reverend Dr. Stanley R. Ladson, Sr. was born in Hopkins, South Carolina to Reverend James and Martha Sue Middleton Ladson. Reverend Ladson attended the public schools of Richland County and he is a 1981 graduate of Lower Richland High School. He attended Morris College in Sumter, South Carolina and received honors from Central Carolina Christian University located in Columbia, South Carolina. Reverend Ladson recently retired from the Ft. Jackson Property Book Office after completing 37 years of civil service.
Reverend Ladson is the founder and pastor of Ladson’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, located at 7156 Cabin Creek Rd. in Hopkins, South Carolina. Reverend Ladson is a revivalist, community pastor, radio personality, and a family man. In addition, he is a member of the Mt. Olive Lodge 434, 306 Order Eastern Star, CC Johnson Consistory.
Reverend Ladson has two brothers and three sisters. He is married to Dianne Jones Ladson of Hopkins, South Carolina; They have three children: Stanley R. Ladson, Jr., Sharita Renee Ladson and Stephen Raynard Ladson and six grandchildren.
Reverend Ladson’s motto is “I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness. Prepare ye the way of the Lord and make his paths straight.” His prayer is, “Lord, help me as I attempt to help someone else”.
